Residential charging Install: Many EV owners in Toronto also charge their vehicles at home, using Level 1 or Level 2 chargers installed in their garages or driveways. If you live in a condo or apartment building, we might be able to install them. MSI needs to work with the building management to install a charging station. 

Installing a 240V EV (Electric Vehicle) charger

MSI EV Charger Installation is vital key component for all our EV charger installation of the charging station at the customer's location, ensuring that it is set up correctly and meets all safety requirements. MSI also provide ongoing maintenance and repair services to ensure that the chargers remain in good working order and are always available for use.

  1. Choosing the right location: MSI works with the client the to choose the best location for the charger. This involves assessing the available electrical capacity, considering the proximity to the vehicle parking area, and ensuring that the charger is accessible and visible.

  2. Prepare the site: Once the location has been chosen, the site must be prepared for installation. This will involve digging trenches for cables, installing conduit for protection, and setting up a sturdy base for the charger.

  3. Install the electrical wiring: After we have finished our survey, we start the install the electrical wiring for the charger. This involves running the electrical wires from the electrical panel to the charging station and installing a dedicated circuit breaker to ensure the charger has enough power to operate.

  4. Mount the charger: Once the wiring is complete, we start to install the charger that can be mounted to the wall or on a stand. All our charger is secured properly to prevent any damage or accidents.

  5. Test the installation: After the charger is installed, we do all testing to ensure that it is functioning properly. This involves checking the electrical connections, verifying the charging rate, and testing the safety features.

  6. Obtain permits: Depending on the Ontario jurisdiction, permits may be required for the installation of the EV charger. The client must know its important to obtain all necessary permits before beginning the installation.

  7. We hire and work with the best qualified electrician or EV charger installation electricians and installers to install a 240V EV charger. This will ensure that the installation is done correctly and safely, and that the charger is optimized for maximum performance and longevity.
